Stickers and Rubber Duckies Day
January 13, 2021
As you’ve heard in advisory, today is National Sticker Day! I hope you all had fun showing off your stickers, I know I did. But I figured since there are multiple national holidays on each day and Leadership was already covering one, we could have a double holiday. So along with National Sticker Day it is also National Rubber Duckies Day. Here are some fun facts about each:
- The largest sticker is 209 ft. 10 in. by 417 ft. 6 in.
- Stickers were first made to track taxes and in the way we use them today on mail as postage stamps
- Despite their name, rubber ducks are usually made of plastic not rubber
